1. NAME
the name of the Association shall be known as PERSATUAN PENIAGA ALAT GANTI KEJURUTERANAN DAN DEKDERAAN SELANGOR DAN WILAYAH PERSWEKUTUAN (SELANGOR AND FEDERAL TERRITORY ENGINEERING AND MOTOR PARTS TRADERS' ASSOCIATION). Short form is to be written as EMPTA" and pronounced as "EMP-TA".

The name of the association shall not be changed without the approval of the registrar of societies.

the symbol of association shall consists of the image of the car piston in black colour and the letter EMPTA in golden yellow.

2. REGISTERED ADDRESS
The registered office and place of meeting shall be at 15-2 & 17-2,  Jalan 1/64A, Kompliks udarama, Off Jalan Ipoh, 50350 Kuala Lumpur.

The registered office and place of meeting shall not be changed without the approval of the registrar of societies

3. OBJECTIVE
The objectives for which the association is established are:

• to promote and protect the interest of members.
• to represent members to express and give effect to their views and opinions on the commercial or mercantile metters of all kinds.
• to provide commercial information and activities of all kinds.
• to foster mutual cooperation among memebrs
• to promote social, cultural, educational and welfare works
• to work closely with such other registered societies having objectives similar to those of the association by way of mutual assistance and cooperation towards the attainment of the aforesaid objectives.
